About Adam

Adam moved to Charlottesville in 1982 to attend the University of Virginia and immediately fell in love with the Commonwealth and its people. He has been living in the area for close to 35 years. He works in Finance at the UVA Health System, and is the president of his congregation. He is a member of the Charlottesville Clergy Collective, and is currently participating in the Community Dialogue on Economic Inequality.

Adam has long-standing ties to Central Virginia. He been a facilitator for the Charlottesville area Dialogue on Race, the Director for the Charlottesville Ten Miler, a Girl Scout troop leader, and a youth basketball and soccer coach. He worked on the presidential campaign of former Virginia Governor L. Douglas Wilder and served on the re-election steering committee for the late Delegate Mitch Van Yahres. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics & Physics and Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Virginia.

He and his wife Kim have four children and live in Charlottesville. He is running for Congress as a Democrat.
